Notes before going to China:

According to relevant arrangements, the Chinese embassy in Singapore has adjusted the visa processing requirements for business, work, study, and family visits to China. The updated procedures and material requirements are as follows:

Fill in the visa application form online (https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn), print out the confirmation page and form, and sign on the confirmation page and item 9 of the form

Make an online appointment to submit the application, and print out the visa appointment confirmation form

Submit the application in person at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center according to the appointment time, and keep ten fingerprints
*The following visa applicants are exempt from fingerprint collection, and those who are exempt from fingerprint collection can entrust others to submit visa applications:

Persons under the age of 14 or over the age of 70

Holders of diplomatic passports or those who meet China's diplomatic, service, and courtesy visa approval requirements

Those who have applied for a visa at the Chinese embassy in Singapore or the Chinese Visa Application Service Center with the same passport within five years and have had their fingerprints taken

All ten fingers are incomplete or none of the ten fingerprints can be retained
Application materials:
1. Online application form (print the full form)
2. Original passport and copy of data page
3. One photo
4. Proof of legal stay or residence in Singapore (applicable to citizens of other countries in Singapore)
5. Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who once had Chinese nationality and later became foreign nationals)
6. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination with verifiable QR code
8. For emergency humanitarian visas outside the above-mentioned acceptable range, such as going to China for funerals or visiting critically ill relatives, the identity documents (such as foreign passports, etc.) of the deceased or sick relatives, death certificate or medical certificate issued by the hospital, Notification of critical illness, proof of kinship and other materials
